Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dog Trainer device, mobile/web dashboard, and cloud service (together, the "Service"), operated by Ofir Haselkorn, an individual based in Israel ("we," "us," "the Operator"). By creating an account, pairing a device, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is currently an early-stage pilot / proof of concept. It is provided to a small number of users for testing and feedback purposes and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

2. What the Service does — and doesn't do

Dog Trainer is a camera-based training aid that detects when a dog enters a defined zone and plays a deterrent sound or recorded voice prompt. It is not:

You are solely responsible for your dog's health, safety, and wellbeing, and for judging whether this Service is appropriate for your dog, your household, and your circumstances.

3. Camera and audio placement — your responsibility

The device records video (and, if you upload a voice clip, plays audio — it does not continuously record ambient sound) of the space you point it at. You are solely responsible for:

We are not responsible for your compliance with local recording or privacy laws.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to access other users' devices or data without authorization.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to surveil people without their knowledge in violation of applicable law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's device, account, or data; reverse-engineer, disassemble, or interfere with the Service's operation; or use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING THE DEVICE, DASHBOARD, AND CLOUD BACKEND, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT DETECTION/ALERTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR TIMELY. THIS IS PILOT SOFTWARE AND SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO HAVE BUGS, OUTAGES, AND DATA LOSS.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $50. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (SUCH AS LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR FRAUD).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights (including recording or privacy rights of someone captured by your camera).

9. Dispute resolution — binding arbitration; class action waiver

You and the Operator agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and the Operator each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. The arbitration will be conducted under a recognized arbitration body's consumer/commercial rules, seated in Israel, in English, unless the parties agree otherwise. If this arbitration and class-action-waiver clause is found unenforceable as to you under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you reside, that clause (and only that clause) will not apply to you, and disputes with you will instead be resolved in the courts described in Section 10.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Subject to Section 9, the courts of Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not subject to arbitration.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
